Meet Dr. Cox
Nicholas Cox, DDS
Meet Dr. Cox! Dr. Cox grew up just down the road in Colleyville where he found his love of dentistry during his high school years. He graduated from Colleyville Heritage High School where he was an honors student and all-district baseball player during his tenure.
However, Dr. Cox attended Southwestern University where he received a bachelors of Science in Chemistry. Plus, Dr. Cox played NCAA baseball for all four years as a Pirate, was a member of a fraternity, and was published after four years of research in Physical Chemistry.
Additionally, Dr. Cox was accepted to the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio School of Dentistry, graduating with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2015. Furthermore, Dr. Cox was honored by the Comprehensive Dentistry Department for outstanding performance in patient care, management and productivity, graduating at the top of his class. Plus, he has additional education in implant placement and cosmetic dentistry. After graduating, Nick worked in private practice in San Antonio, gaining more experience and education before moving to North Dallas. In 2016 he acquired a practice in Plano where he worked for seven years.
Personal Life
Dr. Cox met his wife, Dr. Allie Cox, while they were both in dental school in San Antonio. They married in 2015, 2 weeks after he graduated. They have three children, Henry (5) and Zoey (3), and Grady (1). The family enjoys living in Lucas with their dog, Penny. Dr. Cox enjoys coaching his kids’ sports, is active in his church, and spends lots of time with his family in the area.
Dr. Cox treats his patients as he would his family, serves others to the best of his ability, and tries to model his life after Jesus Christ.
