Effective Date: June 22, 2026

Welcome to coxfamilydds.com (the “Site”), operated by Cox Family Dentistry (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of this Site, including submitting forms, requesting or scheduling appointments, communicating with our office, and making payments through the Site.

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Purpose of the Website

This Site is provided for informational and administrative convenience only. It allows you to:

  • Learn about our dental services and team
  • Submit contact or appointment request forms
  • Schedule or request appointments online
  • Communicate with our office
  • Make payments for services when that option is available

The Site does not replace professional dental care or an in-office consultation. Content on this Site is provided for general informational purposes and is kept up to date to the best of our ability, but it is not a substitute for professional advice.

2. No Medical or Dental Advice

Content on this Site is for general information only and does not constitute medical or dental advice. No dentist-patient relationship is created by using this Site, submitting a form, requesting an appointment, or communicating electronically with our office.

Diagnosis, treatment recommendations, and clinical decisions are made only after an in-person examination by a licensed dental professional at our Allen, Texas office.

Dental emergencies: Do not use this Site for dental emergencies. If you are experiencing a dental emergency during office hours, call us at 972-727-4468. Outside of office hours, please seek emergency care at the nearest emergency room or urgent care dental clinic.

3. Appointment Requests and Scheduling

Appointment requests or bookings made through the Site are not confirmed until you receive direct confirmation from our office by phone, text, or email. Please allow one business day for us to respond to online appointment requests.

We reserve the right to:

  • Cancel or reschedule appointments when necessary
  • Request additional information before confirming an appointment
  • Decline to schedule an appointment when clinically or operationally appropriate

Appointment availability, procedure duration, and available services may change without prior notice. Confirming an appointment does not guarantee a specific provider, operatory, or appointment length.

4. Online Forms and Communications

By submitting forms or communicating through this Site, you agree that:

  • The information you provide is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge
  • Electronic communications through standard (non-secure) email or web forms are not guaranteed to be secure or confidential
  • You will not submit urgent, sensitive, or emergency health information through unsecured forms or unencrypted channels

For protected health information, payment details, or sensitive communications, please contact our office directly by phone at 972-727-4468 or use any secure portal we provide.

5. Payments and Financial Transactions

When online payment is available through the Site:

  • Payments are processed through third-party payment processors that maintain their own security standards
  • Cox Family Dentistry does not store full credit card numbers on our servers
  • All payments are subject to our written Financial Policy, a copy of which is available upon request and on this Site

Submitting a payment online does not guarantee insurance coverage or confirm your final patient responsibility. Insurance benefit estimates provided by our office are estimates only and are not a guarantee of payment by your insurer. Refunds, adjustments, and billing disputes are handled according to our office’s Financial Policy.
